Shiny new things…

… none of which have anything to do with it being the start of a new year.

Firstly, because I don’t ‘do‘ New Year. More than that, in fact; I’ve actually developed a bit of a complex which which results in my actively dreading new years eve for weeks in advance of the event itself.
